Common Questions
Can I get contacts the same day as my exam?
In most cases, yes! We maintain a massive inventory of diagnostic trial lenses (spherical, toric/astigmatism, and multifocal). Unless you have a very rare prescription, you will leave with a fresh pair of contacts on your eyes.
Can I wear colored contacts if I have astigmatism?
It depends on the severity of your astigmatism. Standard colored lenses (like Air Optix Colors) are not manufactured in astigmatism corrections. However, if your astigmatism is mild, Dr. Waqar may be able to adjust the prescription to work. For higher prescriptions, we can order custom-made toric colored lenses.
